Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key responsibility
- Electrical System Maintenance & Optimization
- Inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems, including power distribution panels, generators and UPS systems.
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical components in plasma collection devices, freezers, and laboratory equipment.
- Perform voltage, current, and resistance measurements to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
- Schedule and review preventive maintenance (PM) to minimize equipment downtime.
- Respond to electrical failures, power outages, and equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
- Supervision of repair or replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with national and international Electrical Codes.
- Maintain documentation for electrical inspections, repairs, and compliance audits.
- Maintain logs of electrical maintenance, repairs, and system modifications.
- Generate reports on power consumption, equipment performance, and failure trends.
- Update electrical schematics and facility wiring diagrams as needed.
Academic experience required
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
Professional Experience Required
- 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering preferably in healthcare, laboratories, or industrial settings
- Hands-on experience with power distribution, emergency generators, and UPS systems.
- Experience working in GMP environments is a plus.
- Good troubleshooting skills using multimeters and circuit analyzers.
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA electrical safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

To Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards (NFPA, NEC, OSHA) and supports uninterrupted operations in a high-compliance environment. /p>
