Job Purpose

• Design, manufacture, and test electrical systems for TME products by studying customer requirements. Research, test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials. Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment.

Description

• Recommend improvements to departmental policy and support in the implementation of procedures and controls
• Facilitate implementing systems and procedures
• Incorporate the Standards of Excellence as outlined by TME (Pride, Desire, Teamwork, Attention to Detail, and Follow-through) into daily activities in order to create a Total Quality environment
• Draft with engineering drawings & technical data sheets
• Build up production manuals and technical criteria
• Sketch the winding/connection and release all the drawings, BOM & technical data sheets for the overhauling orders
• Execute technical supports in the production lines such as hi-pot/PD/ surge/current balance tests
• Provide the required service and technical service support for sales
• Develop and improve the technology of production
• Research and assess the materials/equivalent for productions
• Deliver and apply new technology to the products
• Assist other essential/required supports
• Sketch and draft the drawings to take the required data at site (replacement motor) during field visit
• Conduct the measurement and analyze the collected data to provide solution for troubleshooting
• Estimate manufacturing cost for sales quotations
• Provide the training/monitoring materials for the seminars or training courses
• Communicate with parent companies (i.e. HMP/TWMC) to update technical data sheets and technical plans
• Posse with good mental and physical conditions
• Identify areas of improvement in his/her subordinates (if any) and ensure their continuous growth
• Coach and provide formal and informal positive constructive feedback to ensure that work is carried in an efficient manner
• Recommend training needed to bridge the staff skill gap
• Coordinate with other department pertaining solutions which are beneficial for the improvement of the entire Company
• Perform other job-related projects and/or assignments that he/she might be asked to do by his/her direct supervisor/manager for special assistance that is often not mentioned in this job description as they arise under specific circumstances
