Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review detailed electrical shop drawings in line with project specifications and standards.

  • Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and authorities to obtain approvals for drawings and scope-related submissions.

  • Manage and track all authority submissions, ensuring timely approvals and compliance.

  • Liaise with relevant authorities for project approvals, inspections, and documentation.

  • Ensure all electrical designs and submissions comply with local regulations and authority requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical shop drawings and authority coordination.

  • Proven experience working with UAE authorities, including:

    1. RTA (street lighting, traffic signals, ITS)

    2. DEWA-ED (high-voltage works)

    3. DEWA-WD (SCADA systems)

    4. Chilled Water systems, particularly SCADA-related work

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of submission and approval processes in the UAE.

  • Good communication and coordination skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple submissions and deadlines efficiently.
