Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop electrical system layouts (lighting, power, data, etc.) in coordination with interior design layouts.
- Create detailed electrical drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM software.
- Perform Electrical load calculations, circuiting, and equipment selection in compliance with local codes (DEWA, ADDC, etc.).
- Coordinate electrical designs with HVAC, plumbing, and other MEP systems to avoid clashes.
- Review and approve MEP Shop drawings and material submittals.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure correct implementation of electrical systems as per approved designs.
- Liaise with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely procurement and installation of electrical components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve site issues during fit-out execution.
- Ensure all electrical works comply with relevant regulations, standards, and authority approvals (DEWA, Civil Defense, etc.).
- Prepare documentation and support applications for authority approvals and inspections.
- Work closely with interior designers, architects, and civil engineers to ensure the electrical design enhances overall aesthetic and functionality.
- Attend Projects meetings to provide technical input and updates on electrical work status.
Desired Candidate Profile
- B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the interior fit-out or construction industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and MS Office.
- Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and approval processes (e.g., DEWA, SEWA, ADDC, Civil Defense).
- Good understanding of interior design principles and how electrical systems impact aesthetics.
- Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
- Must have UAE valid driving license.
