Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems and components for production machinery and facility infrastructure.
  • Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality assurance, to support manufacturing operations and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop and update electrical schematics, diagrams, and documentation in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Supervise installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and energy efficiency within the production environment.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with local codes, company policies, and international standards such as ISO 22000, ISO 9001, and OHSAS 18001.
  • Provide technical support and training to maintenance staff and operators on electrical systems and safety procedures.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of electrical projects, upgrades, and expansions within the facility.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, industrial automation, and PLC programming.
  • Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of production machinery and facility electrical infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations relevant to food manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
