Roles & Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting an Electrical Engineer to strengthen our team in Iraq. This is a full-time onsite position based in Basra, Iraq with travel requirement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and review electrical power distribution, lighting, earthing, and backup systems.
  • Prepare electrical drawings, calculations, specifications, and BOQs.
  • Coordinate electrical systems with other engineering disciplines.
  • Perform QA/QC reviews of electrical design deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and safety requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification:

  • Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 3 5 years of electrical design experience.
  • Experience in building and infrastructure electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of international electrical codes and standards.
