Roles & Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities


  • Design & Engineering
  • Prepare detailed electrical designs, drawings, and layouts for substations (up to 400kV) and OHTL projects.
  • Review and verify electrical calculations, protection schemes, and equipment specifications.
  • Coordinate with design consultants, clients, and internal teams to finalize technical documents.
  • Project Execution
  • Supervise site installation, testing, and commissioning activities of substation and transmission line works.
  • Ensure compliance with project schedules, technical requirements, and HSE standards.
  • Monitor material usage, verify BOQs, and support procurement in technical evaluation of suppliers.
  • Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure all works adhere to international standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, etc.) and client specifications.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure quality control during installation and commissioning phases.
  • Support preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and inspection test plans.
  • Coordination & Reporting
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for technical clarifications and approvals.
  • Prepare progress reports, as-built documentation, and maintain accurate project records.

Desired Candidate Profile

The candidates engineering college, along with the relevant subject/department, must be listed with the NBA (National Board of Accreditation) to be eligible for membership with the Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE). This is a mandatory requirement.
