Primary Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to: Must be able to do ETAP studies. Should be able to do protection calculations and determine correct protection settings. Should have through working knowledge on Synchronous machines, Power and distribution transformers, Variable speed drives, HV/LV switchgears, UPS and Battery chargers. Working experience in PLCs and microprocessor based protection relays will be an added advantage. Must have working experience in Spare parts management, should able to prepare alternative specifications for obsolete spare parts for all electrical equipment and spare parts. Should be able to perform Electrical equipment and spare parts material technical evaluations. Must have through knowledge on classified equipment inspections like Exe, Exd, Exp, IS loops, etc. Must have good knowledge of IEC 60079 standards. Must have good exposure of earthing systems. Must have good working exposure on Electrical Power Management Systems. Must have good working knowledge on Electrical Switch gears. Must be having experience on protective relays testing including primary and secondary injection testing of protection network Must have good exposure of lighting and HVAC systems. A working knowledge of Schematic single line P ID s and PFC diagrams and engineering drawings. FAT and SAT inspection experience. Good degree of attitude to be accepted and obtain support and respect from all. Must be able to work with all other discipline Supervisors, Technicians and contract service department. Must have working experience in Management of change process. Hard work and have evidence of appreciation. Must be able to work long and extra hours without remuneration.
