Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical and low-current systems, tailored to the specific requirements of hospitality and mixed-use developments.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and system design to ensure accuracy and compliance in all estimates.
  • Coordinate with design consultants, engineers, and project teams to ensure cost estimates align with technical specifications and design intent.
  • Support procurement and tendering activities by evaluating quotations and providing accurate electrical scope breakdowns.
  • Maintain and update cost data, supplier pricing, and market trends to reflect changes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in value engineering exercises and cost optimization reviews to support overall project budget control.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical estimation, with a strong focus on luxury hotels, resorts, casinos, or mixed-use developments.
  • Proven expertise in estimating both power and low-current systems, including lighting, power distribution, BMS, ELV, and fire alarm systems.
  • Proficient in estimation software and tools relevant to electrical scope evaluation.
  • Strong understanding of electrical design, codes, and installation practices in high-end construction environments.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, designers, and contractors.
