Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee electrical installations, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards, while coordinating with other trades on-site.
  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical work to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Lead and mentor a team of electricians, providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting techniques to enhance team performance.
  • Manage project timelines and schedules, ensuring that electrical work is completed on time and within budget, while adjusting plans as needed to accommodate changes.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field, demonstrating a solid understanding of electrical theory and practices.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical installations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role overseeing a team.
  • Certifications such as Journeyman Electrician, OSHA safety certification, or equivalent, showcasing commitment to professional development and safety standards.
  • Proven experience working in commercial or industrial electrical settings, with specific knowledge of electrical codes and regulations relevant to the industry.
