Roles & Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduate of 2-year Course in Electrical or Communications Technology.
  • Experience in digital PABX systems and knowledge in Fire Alarm / CCTV / Fiber optic is advantageous.
  • Not more than 50 years old.
YEARS OF EXPERTISE:
  • Minimum 5-years working experience as Foreman on relevant function. Ability to handle multi-national workforce. Good spoken and written English.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Examines drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications to determine appropriate method and sequence of operations.
  • Plan and lay out work in accordance with drawings or sketches.
  • Provide support to users of communications and control facilities.
  • Ensures the availability of tools, equipment and materials to the workforce and maintain spare part stock control levels.
  • Installs repairs and maintains electrical systems, security systems, surveillance systems, telephone/public address systems, fire alarm systems, CATV systems, LV systems and generator systems.
  • Supervise technical maintenance personnel under electrical / C3 disciplines.
  • Prepare reports as required.Performance of any other related tasks as delegated by Supervisor and/or Site Superintendent.
