Roles & Responsibilities
Job Title: Electrical Inspector HV/MV
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Project Type: Large-Scale Thermal Power Plant Project
Mobilization: June 2026
Employment Type: Full-time / Project-Based
The Electrical Inspector will inspect high-voltage and medium-voltage electrical installation works on site and ensure compliance with approved design, specifications, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect HV/MV installation activities and related site works
- Verify compliance with approved drawings, technical requirements, and procedures
- Witness testing, inspection, and installation checks
- Report quality issues, deviations, and non-conformities
- Coordinate with electrical engineers and contractor site teams
- Maintain inspection records and support site reporting
- Ensure compliance with HSE and QA/QC procedures
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 7 years of relevant site inspection experience
- Strong exposure to HV/MV systems in thermal power plant or industrial projects
- Good understanding of electrical installation practices and inspection protocols
Preferred Profile
- GCC experience
- Familiarity with substations, switchgear, transformers, and cable systems
