Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
An Electrical Inspector is responsible for examining electrical installations and systems to ensure compliance with safety codes, regulations, and standards.
The role involves inspecting wiring, equipment, and components at construction sites or facilities and recommending corrective actions when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect electrical installations in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
- Verify compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications
- Identify faults, hazards, or non-compliance issues and recommend corrective measures
- Review electrical plans and blueprints before and during installation
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to ensure quality and safety
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation
- Stay updated on local and international electrical codes and regulations
- Conduct follow-up inspections to verify corrective actions have been implemented
