Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems and components on construction sites to ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Perform tests on electrical installations using specialized equipment to verify safety and functionality
- Identify and document electrical deficiencies, code violations, and safety hazards
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve electrical issues and ensure timely project completion
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of all inspections and findings
- Stay up-to-date with changes in electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices
- Provide guidance and recommendations to improve electrical safety and efficiency on construction sites
- Participate in pre-construction meetings to discuss electrical requirements and potential challenges
- Ensure compliance with UAE electrical standards and regulations
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical inspection or related field
- Proficiency in electrical codes and standards, including familiarity with UAE electrical regulations
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Experience working on construction sites
- Familiarity with testing equipment and inspection tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inspection software
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and quality
- Knowledge of construction industry regulations and safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel to various construction sites within the UAE
