Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, malfunctions, and breakdowns in industrial settings, implementing effective solutions promptly.
- Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment and control systems in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and production staff, to coordinate maintenance activities and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards during maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels of electrical spare parts and materials, initiating procurement requests as needed.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and maintenance staff.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing electrical systems and reducing operational costs.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and industrial automation.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults and breakdowns.
- Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Willingness to work on-site and respond to emergency maintenance calls as required.
