Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Degree in Electrical Engineering with 6 years of relevant maintenance experience Understanding of KKS power plant designation system Knowledge of reliability analysis techniques In depth technical knowledge of electrical system used in large power plant specially with Alstom Generator, 220KV GIS, Static frequency converter, static excitation system, relay co-ordination, fault level calculation , VFD, PLC, transformer, generator & line protection. Good knowledge and understanding of the HV/MV/LV systems and the control & protection system. Strong knowledge of the Power and RO Plant function and business objectives including organizational structure and decisionmaking processes, business needs and constraints, budget, planning, legal and public relations constraints. In depth knowledge of condition monitoring of electrical equipment. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ In depth knowledge of performing remaining life assessment of major/ critical equipment used in power plant.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, providing a strong technical foundation.

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) or equivalent to validate expertise.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance within industrial or manufacturing environments.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints, crucial for accurate maintenance work.

  • Experience with PLCs and automation systems, allowing for effective troubleshooting and system optimization.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess complex electrical problems and develop effective solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, ensuring thorough documentation of maintenance activities and safety protocols.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility in approach to tasks.

  • Willingness to work in various environments, including high-risk areas, while adhering to all safety measures.
