Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and supervise daily electrical maintenance activities across the paper production lines (Pulping, Paper Machines, Utilities, Finishing).

Ensure timely troubleshooting and repair of electrical breakdowns to minimize downtime.

Ensure proper maintenance of instrumentation and control systems related to paper machines.

Lead, train, and supervise electrical engineers, technicians, and electricians.

Assign work schedules and ensure proper manpower utilization.

Evaluate team performance and support skill development and training plans.

Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, procedures, and plant HSE regulations.

Conduct risk assessments and safety audits for electrical installations.

Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and industry standards.

Manage electrical spare parts inventory and ensure the availability of critical spares.

Control maintenance costs and prepare departmental budgets.

Desired Candidate Profile

BSc degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.

8 12 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in paper, pulp, or heavy industrial plants.

Thorough knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance procedures.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.

Strong leadership and management skills

Good communication and problem-solving skills
