Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

Your Job
Guardian Glass is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join our engineering and reliability team in 10th of Ramadan in Sharqia (Egypt) .
What You Will Do
• Effectively apply supervisory skills to oversee maintenance activities.
• Take charge of minor and major breakdown troubleshooting for the production line, power stations, and plant utilities.
• Ensure the safe execution of all daily maintenance activities.
• Allocate tasks to team members.
• Collaborate with planners to enhance job plans and provide insights to schedulers for better job timing and coordination.
• Adhere to preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring checklists are completed within timelines and accountabilities are met.
• Lead and coach the team across maintenance activities and tasks as well as operate maintain when needed.
• Lead or participate in root cause failure analyses.
• Analyze machine downtime data and report findings to the Reliability Manager.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Flexibility to work in rotating shifts.
• Previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of electrical power and machine basics.
• Good level of communication in English.
• Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrate foundational leadership skills.
• Comply with all quality, safety, EHS guidelines, and company policies.
What Will Put You Ahead
• Specialized knowledge of industrial equipment, including Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) breakers, Transformers, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Power factor correction equipment, Motor Control Centers (MCC) and Drives and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
• Familiarity with drives, PLCs, control loops, and control networks
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Capability to work effectively and professionally with skilled trades
• Ability to manage skilled trades and handle stressful situations with professionalism
