Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the electrical procurement team to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of electrical materials and equipment.
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and organizational goals.
Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, fostering strong vendor relationships.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure optimal agreements.
Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, and project management teams to forecast material needs and resolve technical queries.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations throughout the procurement process.
Manage procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier records.
Track and report on procurement performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
Resolve supply chain issues and mitigate risks to ensure uninterrupted project execution.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering .
Minimum 12 14 years of experience in electrical procurement or technical purchasing.
Proven experience in leading and managing procurement teams.
Solid experience in supplier evaluation, selection, and vendor relationship management.
Strong negotiation skills with proven ability to secure favorable contracts, pricing, and terms.
In-depth understanding of supply chain management and procurement best practices.
Experience working on construction, EPC, or infrastructure projects.
Strong analytical skills to monitor procurement performance, costs, and KPIs.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage risks and resolve supply chain issues.
Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with engineering, construction, and project management teams.
