Electrical Sales Director

Main missions:

Reporting to the General Management and member of the Management Committee, you will be in charge of steering the commercial strategy of the Transmission & Distribution Business Unit, on the national and African markets. Your role will be to ensure the development of turnover, to strengthen market share on the Moroccan territory while accelerating export growth, particularly in Africa.

Responsibilities:

Definition and deployment of the commercial strategy:

- Develop and execute an ambitious commercial strategy covering both the Moroccan market and African markets with high potential

- Identify growth drivers: public and private customers, distributors, installers, contractors, design offices, technical

partners - Define action plans by segment (electricity infrastructure, rural electrification, etc.)

- Structure the commercial offer in line with local and regional specificities, with a differentiated approach by market

- Contribute to the pricing policy, technical offers and strategic positioning of the BU

Development of sales in Morocco and abroad:

- Consolidate the presence of the BU on the Moroccan market (ONEE, major industrial accounts, installers, etc.)

- Increase presence in public tenders and large-scale

projects - Manage business development in Africa: prospecting, network management, response to calls for tenders, negotiation

- Establish and maintain sustainable partnerships with key players in the African market (EPCs, utilities, governments, donors, financiers)

- Manage the prescription strategy with key players in the sector (design offices, project managers, local authorities, installers, etc.)

Team management and sales performance:

- Supervise a multidisciplinary sales team (Sales, Export, Prescription)

- Implement performance management tools: CRM, KPIs, dashboards

- Lead the sales force with clear objectives, action plans and rigorous monitoring of results

- Promote skills development through coaching, training and the sharing of best practices

Coordination and cross-functional management:

- Collaborate with internal teams (Production, Logistics, Design Office, Finance) to guarantee the quality of offers and compliance with commitments

- Ensure fluid coordination between sales channels (direct, indirect, projects) and support

functions - Actively participate in the BU's strategic decisions and in the meetings of the Management

Committee Profile sought:

- Higher education in business, engineering or equivalent (Bac+5)

- Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in a strategic sales function in the electricity

sector - Significant experience in managing multidisciplinary teams

- Mastery of project and tender environments, particularly in the public and parapublic

sectors - Knowledge of the Moroccan market and African markets (West and/or Central Africa)

- Strong sense of business development, conquest strategy and key

account management - Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership

skills - Fluent English required – French is essential.
