Electrical Site Engineer

Job Summary:

We are hiring a qualified and experienced Electrical Site Engineer with a strong background in the execution of HV & LV power systems, lighting, and ELV installations. The ideal candidate will have 6 years of UAE experience and be responsible for managing day-to-day electrical site works in compliance with project specifications, authority regulations, and safety standards.

This role requires strong technical knowledge in electrical containment, cable sizing, load schedules, and testing & commissioning procedures, along with excellent coordination and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all electrical site activities including cable containment, cable pulling, terminations, DB dressing, and panel installations.

• Prepare and review shop drawings, as-built drawings, and red-line markups.

• Ensure compliance with all UAE authority regulations including DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, and others as required.

• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and internal teams for site inspections, approvals, and technical queries.

• Monitor daily site progress, report issues, and ensure timely execution of works as per project schedule.

• Prepare load schedules, cable sizing, and single-line diagrams (SLDs) in coordination with the design team.

• Capable of preparing method statements, material submittals, and coordinating with procurement for timely delivery of materials.

• Support testing and commissioning activities including IR testing, continuity checks, and functional testing of electrical systems.

• Ensure MEP coordination, especially with mechanical and civil disciplines, to avoid site conflicts and delays.

• Enforce HSE standards and ensure site activities are carried out in a safe and compliant manner.

• Maintain proper documentation, site reports, and submission logs for consultant and authority approvals.
