Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all on-site electrical installation activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications to guide site execution and resolve technical issues.
  • Monitor daily progress and quality of electrical works, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Liaise with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within overall fit-out projects.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed progress reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and low-current systems.
  • Identify and troubleshoot on-site electrical issues, proposing effective solutions to minimize delays.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with local codes, regulations, and health and safety requirements.
  • Manage procurement and delivery of electrical materials and equipment, coordinating with suppliers as needed.
  • Support the handover process by preparing as-built documentation and assisting with final inspections.

Preferably has strong knowledge of all MEP works including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems especially within office, retail, F&B, and residential fit-out projects to ensure proper coordination and smooth project execution.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience as an Electrical Site Engineer or in a similar role within the fit-out or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation practices, and relevant codes and standards.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse project teams.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit , Primavera).
  • Willingness to work full-time and on-site as required by project demands.
