Main Job Scope:

The Electrical Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing all electrical works during the design, installation, and commissioning phases of construction projects. The role ensures that electrical activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, standards, and project timelines, while coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver quality projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the technical adviser at the site for subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Review and verify plans, drawings, and quantities to ensure accuracy before execution.
• Prepare as-built and shop drawings in accordance with project requirements.
• Interpret construction drawings, contract documents, and applicable standards (local and international) prior to commencement of work.
• Oversee the electrical work plan, coordinating with civil, mechanical, and other trades to ensure smooth execution and clash avoidance.
• Monitor daily site activities, supervise labor force, and ensure work quality and safety standards are maintained.
• Conduct regular site inspections, prepare daily reports, inspection requests, and progress updates for submission to the Site Manager.
• Resolve technical issues promptly, providing solutions to minimize delays.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of electrical materials and equipment to prevent work interruptions.
• Manage storage and handling of electrical materials and equipment to prevent damage or theft.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies on-site, ensuring a safe working environment.
