Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform site activities for Transmission power substation Equipment such as Gas insulated Switchgear rated 132kv & 400kv and power Transformer rated 132/11kv & 400/132kv. Site Safe Receipt Procurement Inspection, installation, Testing activities in line with the approved test forms. Validate approved design drawings and review As-built drawings. Maintain the overall quality of transmission equipment by resolving conflicts occurred during site activities related to technical issues, reviewing method statement, reporting non-conformities to line Manager and follow up with stakeholders for rectification. Follow and adhere to the OH&S Management System Manual as per safety standards. Perform any other tasks as assigned by the reporting line manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering

Minimum 5 -7 years experience in high voltage transmission field of substation equipment

  • Problem solving skills

  • Knowledge in International Standards (IEEE, IEC, BS)

  • Proficiency in technical report writing
