Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Execute daily site activities under the direction of the Project Engineer, ensuring work is carried out as per drawings and specifications.
  • Supervise site workforce and subcontractors involved in electrical installation works (EHV, MV, LV systems) up to 220kV.
  • Monitor the progress of activities such as cable laying, switchgear installation, panel erection, termination, and OHL works, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with stores and logistics to ensure timely availability of required materials at the site.
  • Implement site instructions issued by the Project Engineer and ensure tasks are completed as per project timelines.
  • Maintain daily work records, manpower deployment logs, and material consumption reports.
  • Conduct preliminary quality checks on installed systems and report deviations or issues to the Project Engineer.
  • Ensure that all site activities are performed safely and in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Support the commissioning team by preparing equipment and systems for testing and energization.
  • Report any resource constraints, technical issues, or site-related challenges to the Project Engineer in a timely manner.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma Electrical Engineers with 5+ experience in supervision of EHV, MV & LV Industrial and utility Electrical installations up to 220kV.
  • Candidate shall have experience on the project involving outdoor GIS substations, indoor switchgears, control and protection panels, HV & MV power cabling and control cabling, 132kV & 33kv OHL and other associated systems.
