Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the electrical commissioning process, ensuring all systems are tested and function as designed, adhering to project specifications and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement commissioning plans, method statements, and test procedures, tailored to the project's unique electrical systems and requirements.
- Lead and coordinate commissioning teams, providing technical guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure efficient and effective execution.
- Conduct thorough inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment, including switchgear, transformers, and control systems, to identify and resolve issues.
- Review and approve commissioning documentation, including test reports, checklists, and as-built drawings, to maintain accurate records and compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address design discrepancies, resolve technical challenges, and ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Monitor and control commissioning progress, budget, and schedule, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks and delays.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma in any Engineering or a related field.
- Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical commissioning, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and protection devices.
- Exhibit strong proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
