Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily electrical maintenance activities, including preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of hospital electrical systems.
  • Monitor and maintain electrical distribution systems, transformers, panels, UPS, generators, lighting, and emergency power systems.
  • Plan and assign tasks to electricians and technicians, ensuring efficient use of manpower and resources.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and hospital standards.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
  • Maintain maintenance records, logbooks, and reports for all electrical assets.
  • Coordinate with HVAC, plumbing, and civil teams for integrated maintenance operations.
  • Ensure all electrical maintenance work follows safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to subordinates.
  • Support energy-saving initiatives and sustainability programs within the facility.
