Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise MV/LV cable jointing and termination activities at project sites.

  • Execute cable jointing works for 11kV, 33kV, 6.6kV, and 0.4kV systems.

  • Ensure all electrical works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

  • Coordinate daily site activities with engineers, subcontractors, and project teams.

  • Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment required for site execution.

  • Conduct inspections and ensure quality workmanship during installation and jointing activities.

  • Prepare site reports, progress updates, and material reconciliation records.

  • Follow DEWA and project safety regulations, including OH&S requirements.

  • Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe work practices on site.

  • Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.

  2. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cable jointing and electrical supervision.

  3. Strong knowledge of MV/HV cable jointing and termination works.

  4. Experience in utility, infrastructure, or power distribution projects.

  5. Familiarity with DEWA standards and regulations is preferred.

  6. Knowledge of heat shrink, cold shrink, and elastimould jointing methods.

  7. Good communication and team coordination skills.

  8. UAE Driving License is preferred.
