Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and review detailed electrical shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical documentation for MEP projects.

  • Coordinate with design, site, and procurement teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC works.
  • Analyze project specifications, client requirements, and contract documents to develop accurate technical solutions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors during project execution.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs, material submittals, and technical evaluations for electrical components and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, international standards, and project-specific requirements in all electrical designs and installations.
  • Participate in value engineering and cost optimization efforts to enhance project efficiency and quality.
  • Assist in preparing project schedules, progress reports, and documentation for management and client review.
  • Liaise with consultants, clients, and authorities to resolve technical queries and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Support the implementation of quality assurance and safety procedures throughout the project lifecycle.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 4 to 7 years of proven experience in a technical office role within the MEP or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low current systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design and drafting software.
  • Experience preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical submittals.
