Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technical Office Engineer to join our team. The role involves preparing and reviewing electrical shop drawings, coordinating with other engineering disciplines, performing accurate quantity surveying, and managing invoices to ensure proper cost control and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and update electrical shop drawings (Lighting, Power, Low Current, Earthing).

Ensure all designs comply with project specifications, standards, and codes.

Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and architectural teams to resolve technical conflicts.

Prepare material submittals and follow up with consultants for approvals.

Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ).

Prepare and review interim payment applications, client invoices, and subcontractor invoices.

Monitor variations and change orders, updating project cost records accordingly.

Provide technical and commercial support to site teams and project managers.

Maintain proper documentation, reporting, and filing of all technical office activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering.

4 7 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in shop drawings and QS/invoicing.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), MS Office, and electrical design/QS tools.

Solid understanding of construction contracts and cost control.

Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
