Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the electrical technical office team to ensure high-quality project deliverables.
  • Review and approve electrical designs, shop drawings, and material submittals in accordance with project clients specifications and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with architectural , Structure team & Production Team.
  • Study tendering projects accordingly to drawing & client specifications.
  • Ensure that electrical cost estimation comply with client specs & approved vendor.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers to align electrical works with overall project timelines.
  • Oversee the preparation of technical documentation, including BOQs, Material specifications, technical proposals and as-built drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Resolve technical issues and provide expert guidance during project execution and installation phases.
  • Manage and monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks related to electrical works.
  • Conduct regular site visits to verify installation quality and adherence to approved designs.
  • Support the continuous improvement of technical office processes and mentor junior engineers.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum 7 years of experience in Electrical Engineering within the construction industry specializing in Electrical Design, Shop Drawings & Technical Submittals of Electrical System, Quantity Surveying (QS), Tendering and Technical Office Management for large-scale projects across Residential, Commercial, and Steel projects pre-fabricated building & Caravans preferred.

Proficiency in relevant Engineering Software (AutoCAD, BIM / Revit, ETAP, e.g., ) Electrical workflows, and coordination, Egyptian Code compliance.

Proven ability to lead MEP team, Costs Control, resolve technical issues, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and approval.

Strong leadership capabilities, problem solving and good communication skills.
