Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot VFDs, Soft Starters, and PLC systems

  • Maintain sensors, generators, AVR, and synchronization systems

  • Operate and maintain HV/LV systems and Main Switchboards (MSB)

  • Perform electrical fault finding and troubleshooting

  • Maintain automation, control, and Power Management systems

  • Support DP system operation and troubleshooting

  • Maintain fire & gas detection systems including H2S sensors

  • Maintain crane and jacking system electrical controls and sensors

  • Maintain navigation and communication equipment

  • Update Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and maintenance reports

  • Ensure compliance with offshore HSE and safety procedures

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Minimum 5 years offshore experience as ETO / Marine Electrician

  2. Strong knowledge of marine electrical, automation, and control systems

  3. Experience with VFDs, PLCs, generators, AVR, HV/LV systems, and MSB

  4. Familiar with DP, PMS, fire & gas systems, cranes, and jacking systems

  5. Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills

  6. Offshore certifications preferred (BOSIET/HUET/STCW)
