Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and utilities to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations
- Support facility infrastructure, production equipment, and utility systems such as power distribution, lighting, HVAC, and generators
- Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements (OSHA, NFPA 70E, IEC)
- Assess and mitigate electrical hazards in industrial environments
- Apply Lockout / Tag out (LOTO) procedures
- Use electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, insulation testers, and fault locators
- Perform power quality analysis and voltage regulation troubleshooting
- Conduct harmonic distortion and electrical interference analysis within industrial systems
- Perform fault trend analysis and root cause identification for recurring issues
- Apply PFMEA to assess risks and enhance system reliability
- Use IIoT platforms for real-time monitoring and fault detection
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Log data, report maintenance trends, and prepare technical reports
- Communicate effectively with engineers, production teams, and management
- Work under pressure and meet deadlines
Desired Candidate Profile
Strong understanding of electrical systems including motors, transformers, switchgear, and power distribution
Experience in instrumentation and control systems such as PLCs, SCADA, and HMI
Skilled in troubleshooting and optimizing industrial automation systems
Proficient in power quality analysis and voltage regulation troubleshooting
Knowledgeable about electrical interference and harmonic distortion
Experience with PFMEA and IIoT platforms
Familiarity with applicable electrical safety standards and LOTO procedures
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Effective communication and ability to work under pressure
Job Summary:
