Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• A minimum of 4 years to 7 of relevant working experience as Technician - Electrical
• Technician Should have Industrial Experience in Electrical substations, Testing, Pre-commissioning & Commissioning related activities etc.
• Ability to read and understand schematics, drawings, and instructions from manufacturers.
• Should be experience in installation, commissioning, calibration, testing, repairing, Re-wiring for the control, alarm. metering & peripheral systems using various types of equipment’s & systems.
• Ability to Troubleshoot malfunctioning electrical devices and equipment & specialized knowledge to make repairs.
• Ability to Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams & schematics.
• Should be experience in the testing, maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical equipment, high voltage apparatus, protective relays and programmable logic controllers.
• Assists with maintaining and troubleshooting uninterruptable power sources, single and three phase motors.
• Ability to Understand which tools and equipment to use, and when, and will follow relevant training, methods and techniques and quality control and safety procedures for their use.
• Understand their responsibilities for ensuring the care and security of tools and equipment used.
• Understand the types of defects and faults that can occur, how to identify them, and what action to take.
