Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of electrical systems

  2. Maintenance of:

    • Generators

    • Power & Distribution Transformers

    • HV/LV Switchgear & Substations

    • LT & HT Motors

    • DC Systems, VFDs, UPS & Battery Chargers

  3. Testing & commissioning of:

    • Generators, transformers, circuit breakers, MV motors

    • Protection systems, CTs, PTs

  4. Work on Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) – preferably 132kV and above

  5. Conduct relay testing using:

    • PCM600, DIGSI 4, MiCOM Studio, Enervista

  6. Use testing equipment such as:

    • Omicron CPC100, CMC356 or equivalent

  7. Maintenance of:

    • SFC / Excitation systems

    • PLC systems & communication protocols

  8. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and fault diagnostics

  9. Handle SAP systems:

    • SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC 6.0

    • Maintenance notifications, work orders, spare part


    • Strong troubleshooting & analytical skills

    • Hands-on maintenance experience in power plants

    • Ability to work independently

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Experience in Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP)

  2. Experience in Desalination (MSF / RO)


30–35 years (preferred)
