Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking a highly skilled and safety -conscious Electrical technician to join our maintenance team, the primary role is to ensure the Electrical integrity, reliability and efficiency of all plant equipment, this includes high speed packing machinery , refrigeration systems ( ammonia experience a plus ), conveyor, PLC- Controlled Processing, the ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a strong Electrical background in a further Processing plant or FMCG.
Description
Electrical maintenance & Repair:
- Perform routine and preventive electrical maintenance on all plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical issues on AC/DC drivers, motor starters, relays, sensors, and control circuits.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints, and PLC ladder logic.
- Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical components and systems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform minor programming changes on PLCs, HMIs, and VFD.
- Understand and work with networked devices and industrial communication devices and communication protocols.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, including lockout/ tagout (LOTO) procedures, ARC flash safety, and NFPA 70E standards.
- Comply with GMP (FOOD Manufacturing Practices) and Food Safety Standards (BRC, HALAL, HACCAP), ensuring all work is Performed in sanitary Manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Provide electrical support for the plant s industrial ammonia refrigeration systems under guidance of licensed refrigeration engineers. (understanding of refrigeration control circuits is critical)
- Accurately document work orders, parts usage, and maintenance activities in the CMMS (COMPUTRIZED MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM)
- Collaborate effectively with mechanics operators, and other team members to minimize down time.
Academic and professional qualifications:
- Graduated in High School Diploma or High institute.
- Complete of a recognized Electrical apprenticeship program, technical college degree in industrial Electricity.
- A minimum 8-10 years of Experience as an industrial Electrician or Electrical Technician, in addition to 3 years at least at Further Processing from minimum Experience.
- Proven Experience Troubleshooting 480V/ 3phase power and 24 DC controls Circuits.
- Strong hands-on experience with PLCs (Troubleshooting and minor programming) and VFD.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Must be work in a cold, wet and demanding environment and perform physical tasks (lifting, climbing, standing for long periods)
- Experience in the further Processing plant or Food and beverage.
- Experience with Ammonia Refrigeration systems and their associated electrical control.
- Experience with Packaging Machinery (Fill, seal, Vacuum Pump, Labellers, Ink Jet, X Ray).
- Proficiency in using CMMS.
- Strong Safety Mindset: uncompromising commitment to personal and team safety.
- Problem Solver: Excellent Analytical troubleshooting skills under pressure.
- Proactive & Self-Motivated: Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Team Player: Excellent communication skills and Collaborative attitude.
- Adaptable: Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced.
- Must be able to Work in a cold (below 4 C), Wet, and noisy environment.
- Required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladder to extended periods.
- Must be Comfortable working around raw meat products and industrial cleaning chemicals.
