Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment at the blending plant and oil field sites.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical panels, motors, and control systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
- Assist in the commissioning and testing of new electrical installations and machinery.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support plant and field operations.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and provide technical support as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain inventory of electrical spare parts and request replenishments as necessary.
Desired Candidate Profile
2-3 years of proven experience as an electrical technician, preferably in an industrial or oil & gas environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with industrial control systems, PLCs, and instrumentation.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to work on-site and respond to urgent maintenance needs.
- Physical capability to perform hands-on technical tasks in an industrial setting.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and skill development.
