Roles & Responsibilities
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems in staff housing.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults and malfunctions.
Install and upgrade electrical fixtures, wiring, and equipment as needed.
Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Collaborate with other engineering and maintenance personnel to resolve issues.
Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues and service requests.
Assist in planning and executing electrical projects and renovations.
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as an electrical technician, preferably in residential or staff housing settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on-call or during non-standard hours as needed.
