Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings, layouts, and schematic diagrams based on project specifications.
• Develop and manage BIM models to ensure accurate coordination with architectural, structural, and mechanical trades.
• Apply BIM and VDC processes to detect clashes, resolve conflicts, and optimize project delivery.
• Review design documents to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables.
• Conduct quantity takeoffs and prepare material schedules/BOQs.
• Draft and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) to address unclear or missing design details.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams and support with design updates.
• Produce comprehensive as-built drawings for project closeout.

Qualifications

• 1 3 years of experience in electrical drafting, BIM/CAD engineering, and technical coordination.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential; knowledge of Navisworks and electrical design software (e.g., DIALux, ETAP) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems: lighting, power distribution, low current, and grounding.
• Above-average English communication skills for effective coordination with international clients and teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and deliver under pressure.
• Familiarity with U.S.-based electrical codes and practices is an advantage.

Additional Qualifications

• Knowledge of U.S. electrical codes and standards (NEC, NFPA 70, etc.).
• Experience across diverse building types (residential, commercial, industrial, institutional).
• Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary, collaborative environment.
• Strong understanding of BIM coordination processes and LOD standards.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers/drafters.
