Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical systems of heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, bulldozers, graders, cranes, and dump trucks
Troubleshoot issues related to wiring, batteries, alternators, starters, sensors, controllers, and ECU systems
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical components and systems
Install, test, and repair electrical wiring, lighting, and control systems
Use diagnostic tools to identify electrical faults and perform repairs
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Repair or replace faulty electrical components and assemblies
Maintain service records and job reports
Ensure compliance with HSE and electrical safety standards
Support on-site breakdowns and emergency repairs when required
Desired Candidate Profile
ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Auto Electrical, or Heavy Equipment Electrical trade
Minimum 3–6 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Electrician
Experience working on construction or earth-moving equipment
Knowledge of electrical diagnostics, control systems, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with brands such as CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, JCB, Hitachi, Liebherr
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Basic English communication skills
GCC experience preferred
