Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to the National Electrical Code and local regulations.
- Diagnose electrical problems using specialized tools and equipment, ensuring timely and efficient troubleshooting.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or code violations and make necessary adjustments.
- Install lighting systems, outlets, and circuit breakers while ensuring optimal energy efficiency and safety standards.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other tradespeople to design and implement electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Completion of a high school diploma or GED, with vocational training in electrical technology preferred.
- A valid electrician's license or certification in the relevant state or region, demonstrating compliance with local regulations.
- Familiarity with electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and safety.
- Strong technical skills in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools to diagnose and repair issues accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve electrical malfunctions effectively and efficiently.
