Job Overview
Position Title: Electrician
Location: Erbil, Iraq
Duration: Full-time
Role Overview:

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. You will troubleshoot electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with regulations.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or necessary repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems, providing timely solutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and electrical codes at all times.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to support ongoing projects.
• Maintain accurate logs of work performed, inspections, and repairs.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns or electrical faults.
Skills & Requirements:
• Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience (2-3 years) as an Electrician in commercial, industrial, or facilities settings.
• Strong knowledge of hotel electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with safety protocols, electrical codes, and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or emergencies, if required.
