Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough testing of electrical systems and control circuits to identify and diagnose faults, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, and motor control centers, minimizing downtime.
  • Interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to understand system designs and implement repairs.
  • Calibrate and configure instrumentation devices such as pressure transmitters, flow meters, and temperature sensors, ensuring accurate readings.
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, conduit, and related equipment, adhering to Saudi Arabian electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Program and debug Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for automation systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve technical issues and improve system efficiency.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to ensure electrical systems meet safety standards and comply with relevant regulations, preventing hazards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a Diploma or Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field, providing a strong foundation.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance and control systems within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or manufacturing industries, showcasing expertise.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of industrial automation and control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and motor control, reflecting specialized knowledge.
  • Exhibit proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals, highlighting analytical abilities.
  • Showcase experience with electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and insulation testers, indicating practical skills.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently, demonstrating critical thinking.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Be fluent in English (written and spoken) and Arabic (preferred), ensuring seamless communication within the team and with local partners.
