Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain electromechanical systems and equipment used in food manufacturing processes.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and automation systems.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electromechanical systems, including PLCs, motors, sensors, and control panels.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to implement process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare technical documentation, maintenance logs, and reports on equipment status and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies during all engineering activities.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new equipment, spare parts, and suppliers.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and maintenance staff on best practices and safety procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing equipment performance data and recommending upgrades or modifications.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2-4 years of proven experience in electromechanical engineering within the FMCG industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, automation, and control technologies.
- Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery.
- Familiarity with PLC programming, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
