Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain electromechanical systems and equipment used in food manufacturing processes.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and automation systems.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electromechanical systems, including PLCs, motors, sensors, and control panels.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to implement process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare technical documentation, maintenance logs, and reports on equipment status and repair activities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies during all engineering activities.
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of new equipment, spare parts, and suppliers.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians and maintenance staff on best practices and safety procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing equipment performance data and recommending upgrades or modifications.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of proven experience in electromechanical engineering within the FMCG industry
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, automation, and control technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
