Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out timely repairs.

Maintain motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, and other mechanical components.

Repair mechanical failures in conveyors, augers, fans, and moving equipment.

Calibrate and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Follow scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) plans to reduce downtime.

Keep logs of repairs, inspections, and parts used.

Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions.

Follow safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and PPE requirements.

Adhere to biosecurity procedures when entering poultry houses and restricted areas.

Ensure equipment meets health and environmental standards.

Track and manage essential spare parts and maintenance materials.

Report low stock levels and assist in procurement planning.

Maintain tools and ensure availability for work tasks.

Work closely with farm supervisors, production managers, and external technicians.

Provide technical support during flock placement, brooding, and high-demand periods.

Assist during installation or upgrades of equipment and automation systems.
