Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed diagnostics on electronic systems and components to identify malfunctions and implement effective repairs.
- Assemble and test electronic circuitry, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Utilize specialized tools such as oscilloscopes and multimeters to perform precise measurements and troubleshooting.
- Document repair processes and maintain an organized inventory of parts and supplies for efficient operations.
- Collaborate with engineers to refine prototypes and enhance product designs based on testing results.
- Install and configure electronic equipment in various settings, ensuring optimal functionality according to user requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on existing systems to ensure longevity and reliability.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with high-voltage equipment, minimizing risk to self and others.
- Provide technical support and training to users, enhancing their understanding and effective use of electronic devices.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and service delivery.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Associate degree in Electronics or related field, with a strong foundation in circuit theory and digital electronics.
- Proven experience of 2-5 years in electronic repair, ideally within a manufacturing or technical service environment.
- Certification such as IPC-A-610 or Certified Electronics Technician (CET) is highly desirable.
- Hands-on proficiency with soldering techniques and experience with both analog and digital systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills coupled with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in diagnostics.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling clear explanation of technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration.
- Physical dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle small components and tools safely and efficiently.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages can be advantageous in diverse work settings.
