Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute Electronic Attack (EA), Electronic Protection (EP), and Electronic Warfare Support (ES) activities.
  • Integrate EW operations into mission planning and execution phases.
  • Coordinate spectrum deconfliction with communications and IT teams.

Technical Expertise:

  • Operate and maintain EW systems including Direction Finding (DF), Special Purpose Electronic Attack (SPEA), and CREW systems.
  • Conduct system diagnostics, firmware updates, and preventive maintenance.
  • Evaluate technical intelligence data and generate EW threat briefs.

Training & Coordination:

  • Provide EW training and guidance to project personnel and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain EW SOPs and operational appendices.
  • Liaise with military and civilian partners to ensure interoperability and mission alignment.

Strategic Planning:

  • Support the development of Cyber Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA) plans.
  • Participate in targeting meetings and contribute to EW input for operational orders.
  • Assess risks, vulnerabilities, and recommend countermeasures.

  • Strong understanding of MDMP (Military Decision Making Process) and targeting processes.

  • Security clearance (e.g., UK SC or equivalent) may be required depending on role scope.
