Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and technical studies: Participate in the study and design of electrical, signaling and telecommunications installation projects.
  • Implementation: Monitor the progress of projects, from installation to commissioning of equipment on site.
  • Maintenance and diagnostics: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance operations, and diagnose faults on electronic and electrical equipment.
  • Technical writing: Develop plans, diagrams, calculation notes and other technical documents.
  • Management and collaboration: Manage assigned projects and collaborate with production teams and clients

  • Technical skills (Knowledge):

  • Solid knowledge of power electronics, automation, and instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD.
  • Skills in programming industrial programmable logic controllers (PLCs) are a plus.
  • Knowledge of railway signalling or telecommunications would be an asset.

  • Personal qualities (Interpersonal skills):

  • Rigour, organisational skills and analytical mind.
  • Autonomy and ability to solve complex problems.
  • Team spirit and good communication.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Average grade at BAC +16/20 and State Engineering degree in electronics, electrotechnics or electrical engineering.
  • Professional experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position is required. However, talented and motivated recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
