Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Tasks and Duties

  • Greet customers and assess their needs regarding home appliances, electronics, and household items.
  • Present and explain features, capacities, specifications, and warranties of products.
  • Compare models and guide customers toward the best fit based on usage, budget, and room size.
  • Assist in issuing quotations, sales orders, and follow up on pending inquiries.
  • Support customers with product demonstrations whenever applicable.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of appliance specifications, technology features, energy efficiency, and maintenance requirements.
  • Stay informed about new arrivals, promotions, and discontinued items.
  • Understand brand differences and selling points to improve conversion rates.
  • Ensure displays are clean, functional, powered (where applicable), and presented according to VM guidelines.
  • Confirm price tags, and promotional labels are correct and visible.
  • Support in rearranging displays during new campaigns or product rotations.
  • Report damaged, malfunctioning, or missing items immediately.
  • Build positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Address complaints professionally and escalate when needed.
  • Coordinate with showroom manager for stock availability and delivery timelines.
  • Report fast-moving and slow-moving items to the showroom manager.
  • Provide daily feedback on customer trends, challenges, and best-selling products.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of electronics and household appliance functionality.
  • Ability to explain specifications (capacity, wattage, energy rating, smart features).
  • Familiarity with SAGE systems is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Confidence in explaining products and handling objections.
  • Professional attitude, reliability, and strong follow-up ability.
  • Ability to work under monthly targets in a fast-paced retail environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

Preferably Business Management or Marketing & Sales University Graduate

2-3 years of experience in electronics sales roles
