Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of elevators and escalators

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system faults in elevator and escalator systems

  • Perform installation, testing, commissioning, and modernization of elevators and escalators

  • Conduct routine inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and local authority regulations

  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency call-outs

  • Adjust, test, and calibrate elevator equipment to ensure smooth and safe operation

  • Maintain accurate service, inspection, and maintenance records

  • Follow all safety procedures, site rules, and company standards at all times

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering, with specialization or experience in elevator systems.

  • Proven experience in the maintenance, installation, modernization, and repair of elevators

  • Familiarity with UAE elevator safety regulations and local authority requirements (e.g., Dubai Civil Defence, DEWA, or local municipality codes)

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and elevator manuals

  • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills for elevator systems

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Strong commitment to safety, quality standards, and preventive maintenance procedures

  • Currently based in the UAE (required) with a valid UAE driving license (preferred)
